Problems to reach R3 System (Import RFC)

Hello all,

I'm trying to import RFCs from an ECC 6.0 to put up a Scenario RFC-XI-Web Service.

But I'm having troubles importing the RFC.This is what I'm doing:

1. Open the Imported Objects Dialog

2. On the Import Dialog window, I enter the Application Server, System Number and User details.

3. The Logon is done succesfully (verified in the ECC system).

4. On Step 2 of the Import Dialog Box, I Open the RFC option. In this step the the sistem "hangs" and after a while a Java window comes up with the title "Internal Problem" and reads "Problems to reach R3 System"

The Basis guys applied the Note No. 769356, but the problem is still happening.

I'm connecting to R/3 with a SAP ALL user.

Any one has any Idea how to solve it?

Thank you, for your help.

Felipe

Does the RFC destination Test Connection work properly??

Hi VJ,

Sorry, but does the RFC destination has to do with this? Remember that I'm still in design (in the Integration Repository), I'm just importing the RFCs, that later I will use.

In order to import RFC from R3. you must have the RFC destination defined in XI.

Hi VJ,

What type of RFC destination has to be the one you tell me? RFC ABAP Connection?

Any special parameters that I have to be aware of?

Thanks,

Felipe

It is of R3 type. Goto SM59 and create it. Use XIAPPLUSER in the log on security tab.

About your question, yes the RFC destination works properly, I'm still having the same problems, any other idea??

Thank you,
