hi to all,
i am working with FILE TO IDOC scenario ,
i have configured
a)IR & ID objects ,
b)in XI system:
RFC:in sm59
IDOC PORT:in idX1 with name SAP<SID>
c)in R3 SYSTEM:
BD54 created logical system for sender
WE20 partner profiles have been configured.
while testing in Runtime work bench through Component monitoring i am getting error in SXMB_MONI.

Error category: IDOC_ADAPTER.
Error id: ATTRIBUTE_INV_SND_SERV.
and in the trace it says that "unable to convert sender service to an ALE logical system".
for such errors i read we need to assign logical system to the sender / receiver service
i have the logical system assigned to the receiver and it shows in the service
( SERVICE-EDIT ADAPTER SPECIFIC IDENTIFIERS).
but for the sender service i dont see the logical system.
How to add the logical system to the sender service because in the path
(SERVICE-EDIT ADAPTER SPECIFIC IDENTIFIERS) logical system is in non editable mode.
plz help me in solving this probloem
regards
UDAY
>>logical system is in non editable mode.
there are two modes,Edit mode(you can make changes),Read mode(no changes can be)
your sender service is in Read mode right now,you simply need to click on the small yellow pencil on the top to change it to Edit mode
Thanx
Aamir

Hello Vuday...
First of all you should check if our Logical System Name is correctly maintained in the SLD:
Go to the SLD - Technical system ... Client number... Logical System Name
and make sure your business system name is there..

Hi Uday,
Refer the weblog /people/venugopalarao.immadisetty/blog/2007/01/24/troubleshooting-file-to-idoc-scenario-in-xi
You can view the all possible errors and trouble shooting tips for all.
If business system type = Third-Party, then add the logical system in business system level and Save.
If the business service does not have the logical system name in ID, it needs to be configured, refer the above link to configure the same...
Hope it will helps to you resolve this error.
Cheers
Veera

When u first configuring the business system in SLD for ur technical system, that time u were supposed to add the correct logical system name as in the one which u created in BD54.
Can u check it?
