Interactive Forms in WebDynpro (PlaceHolder.dll)

Hi All,

My webdynpro has a Interactive Form. When it is about to show the interactive form I get the following error and the interactive form is not displayed.

"PlaceHolder.dll is missing". It tries to copy from a temp directory and I am pasted it there but I still have the same problem.

Any idea whats going wrong. How do I solve this issue.

Hi Tarun,

Have you installed the xACF_SP<NN>.exe

If no please install that first.

I have installed it. Its part of the notes right? SAP Notes I mean. Thanks.. any other ideas?

Hi Tarun,

In that case, check the version of your J2EE, Adobe, and ACF file. They should be compitable. Also check for the version of the files AdobeControl.dll, OfficeControl.dll, PlaceHolder.dll, in C:\Program Files\Common Files\SAP Shared

They should be same.

hi

i am not pretty sure but do register the dll i mean the placeholder.dll in the registry using regsvr32 < dll name>. hope it solves your problem.
