i have got the all softwares required for mdm 5.5. i need to learn mdm 5.5. shall i install mdm 5.5 server , import server , syndication server and a database and all required clients on my one single laptop , if yes please tell me the sequence of the exe files which can follow

who can access to that website? it asks login details and which i am providing www.sdn.sap.com community login details and not accepting.

Hi Hari,

you cannot reuse your SDN user on SMP. It requires an own user. Check https://service.sap.com/sap/bc/bsp/spn/new_user_pass/infouser_request.htm for details.

Hi Akhil,

The software can be loaded on a single laptop.

I am going to send u the URL for the installation guide which will help u install this software in stepwise process.

Apart from this that service market place site also contain upgrade information.It also has the business content patches that should also be loaded.The documents are in pdf format .just downlaod it.

Hi Akhil,

Yes u can install MDM In ur Personal Laptop.

you have to install in these sequence:

1. SQL Server 2000 Service pack 3 (or) Oracle 9 ( Database)

2. MDM server,

3. Console

4. Import server

5 Import manger Batchs

6. Import manger

7. Data manager

8. Syndication Server

9. Syndicator Batch

10. Syndicator
