Unable to open internet explorer after Installation of SAP GUI

Hello

I installed SAP GUI 7.10 from presentation CD. SAP GUI is successfully installed but I am unable to open IE.

IE starts downloading a file.

Please help me with this issue.

Hi Nikhil,

Uninstall the SAPGUI and check if IE returns to normal. If not then reinstall the SAPGUI and on top of it reinstall IE.

However before doing all this, check the following SAP Notes:

Note 66971 - Supported SAP GUI platforms

Note 950975 - SAP GUI for Windows: Support for IE7 (Internet Explorer 7)

what is your IE version ? IE 7.0 ?

i think some DLLs problem here, i.e mshtml.dll

maybe reinstall IE.

Is your SAPGui at latest patch level ?
