Dummy Companies in Sap software

Hi

I have a problem in my SAP Software installed recently. I dont have any example companies in my system (like 1000, IDES, etc) to refer to. I dont even have the types of currencies and countries, chart of accounts,fiscal year, field status variants, etc. Nothing at all. Are these companies installed along with the software or are they dumped from somewhere?

Can I please get a solution to my problem. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Talk to your basis guys. You should be able to retrieve these from your client 000 which is the client master.

Hi

Thanks for your help. Since you said client 000 is client master and contains data for sure. Hence I understood that I was wrongly searching for data in client 800.

I tried in 000 & I could solve the problem by going to Tcode 'SCC4" (client Maintenance) where 'No changes allowed" option was selected. Hence I was not allowed to use any Tcodes. I changed it to changes allowed and there we go, I got all the data required.
