Dear Sankalp
As you may be aware, while implementing SAP in any office, they have to follow ASAP methodology which will be in 5 phases. Business Blue Print will come as a second phase during which, the company which is going to implement SAP has to list out their activities for each and every module which we call as AS-IS study.
If we take an example from SD point of view, Sales people will have to list out their existing process as to how they record sale orders and make delivery. As a consultant, you have to go through those process and plan as to what are all the requirements that can be addressed through standard SAP and what are all the requirements that needs to be developed.
The next stage, that is third phase is Realization stage. Once the business blue print is freezed, we need to understand client's requirements and definitely, there will be a gap between client's requirements and standard SAP which we call it as GAP ANALYSIS. To overcome from this gap, either the process needs to be re-engineered to suit SAP requirement, or through enhancements (user exits / Zee code), the requirements are to be addressed.
Thanks
