CE71 - SAPinst could not create user

Hello,

I want to install NW CE 7.1 under Windows XP german language. In phase 3 of the installation sapinst can not create the user.

Can anyone please tell me, which user with which rights are needed? And which SAP usergroups they belong to? Do you think it will help, if I create the user manually?

Hi Peter,

You have to create users (<SID>ADM and SAPSERVICE<SID>) on local or in the domain.

Add these two users to "domain admin" group on domain (if users are domain users) and/or in "administrators" on local computer.

Spainst will probably shows warnings but they should be bypassed.
