Need help on loading data from PSA to ODS.please could anyone suggest.
I have loaded transaction data into the PSA and am looking to load the PSA data in the ODS object.
When we are scheduling the data load, only the "PSA only" option is checked.
Due to this , the data is loaded only in the PSA. I can view the PSA data via PSA Maintenance, but how can i send the data from the PSA to ODS. ?
i am using BI 7.0
Any help would be appreciated.

Kshitij
Hi
In BI 7.0 you have to create a data transfer process...right click on your ODS and chose create data transfer process
Infopackage will not take data to datatargets in BI 7
From PSA to higher level , you have to create data transfer process

Hi
Yes, i have created a data transfer process
Below are the steps i have followed so far:
- Firstly, i created an ODS,
- Then i have created a Data Source for Transaction data
- Created an infopackage to schedule
- After this ,i went to infoprovider->ODS-> right click and select " Create Transformation"
- After this , double click "Data Transfer Process"->Extract->Execute-> Then check Preview.
- After this i run schedule from infopackage.
But When i check under "Processing" tab, only the "Only PSA" option is available.

Hi Kshitiz,
As per SDBI u have to create dtp...the flow is source system>PSA(via IP)>Data target(via DTP). If u have created DTP then execute after executing IP or u can schedule in Process chain. And as per BI 7.0 the Processing tab wil be till PSA only..it was in 3.x version when there were other options available. So in short execute ur DTP after IP
Thanks
Prashant
