I got a simple macro, which adds 3 KF, (X = ABC) in monthly view. When I check the X KF in weekly view, the sum of ABC is not equal. We do structural disagg and time based disagg of X based on Prop factors. I even set up a job, to add 1 and subtract 1, just to activate the KF : X. Any help is greatly appreciated.
thx
Jeff
can you explain the issue with some numbers in months and weeks?
whats the time disaggregation type you have? K?
Have you checked with time bucket 9ASTORAGE to confirm the split?

Hi Jeff,
Could you explain how all four key figures are defined in planning area?
How disaggregation is defined in planning area?
Thanks and Best Regards, Manoj

Its not a rounding error, all of the KF are set to 3 decimal places.
thx for your reply

Can you clarify whether the values of the sum of aBC is off from the actual value displayed by just rounding errors ? can you also let us know the decimal places of the UoM you are using to display data in PLanning book ?
One thing more - adding and subtracting 1 for X will not activate disaggregation since the system is smart enough to figure out that there is nothing being changed.
I would rather have two seperate batch jobs running one after the other. The first one adds 1 and the second one subtracts one. So they are essentially seperate batch jobs and macros. I think it should work.
