Directory for Import Design Objects

Hello everybody,

I already did the export of a namespace in teh IR, now it generated a tpz file, but I need to know the directory where it needs to be in QAS so I can do the import can anyone tell this directory so I can put this file in there and do the import, thanks in advance.

Hi Julio,

When you export, it will show some path where it got exported to.

YOu should go to similar directory on the physical QAS system, except for Import directory instead of teh export directory.

for example if your export path is:

D:\usr\sap\DEV\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\export

then import path should be something similar

D:\usr\sap\QAS\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\import (Look for this path on the QAS machine).

for Integration repository,the exported files can be found in <systemdir>/xi/repository_server/export directory from there you need to manually copy them into <systemdir>/xi/repository_server/import directory so that they can be imported in QA
