Dear Experts,
I had assumed that setting a planning function filter by setting a characteristic value or attribute value in the would just have the effect of limiting the dataset for processing.
However, when this is done, the function does not execute as expected even though the filtering logically should still not block required reference data needed for processing.
If you have the same problem before and resolved it, would appreciate if you could please let me know.
thanks!

Hi Sanjay,
are you using variables in your filter?
Are you having the problem in planning Modeler or in your frontend?
Which is the frontend you are using?
probably the problem is, that the system does not automatically deliver values into your variables in the frontend.
Best experiences I made is to put each function with it´s filter into a sequence.
Use the sequence in the fronentd an be sure to fill all variables in the frontend.

Cornelia

Hi Sanjay,
Filters will apply only for planning sequences. If you can elaborate your scenario, it will be helpful in giving you a solution.
