I am facing an issue when posting a credit memo to asset using FB01. The error that I receive is "Acquisition value negative in area xx". I have read earlier threads regarding a similar error message and the solution in them was to allow negative postings in the depreciation area. For this the screen layout of asset class might also have to be changed for this. I dont know how this will affect other assets in the same class as they can be posted to without this setting. But my question is - without this setting we are/were able to make similar postings except to this asset. All the settings are same to the asset which is successfully posted.
