PDF attachment for each employee record

Hi,

I want to attach a scanned document for <b>each record</b> maintianed in infotype.

Can it is possible for standard infotype or customised infotype ?

This is a particular requirement of a client who wants to attach the PDF file not text file . I am allowed to create a new infotype for this.

Pls. help!!!

Hi,

U can use any of the document type in OAC2 tcode which starts with HR...and has a doc type as PDF..

and then assign it to a content repositroy..This is very similar to a photo upload process.. except that the infotype header alone dont attch the PDF object.

If you are aware of the photo upload process u can proceed. Else search this forum for photo upload.. U will get the steps.

Also u can have how many ever attachment u want per infotype ,, but not sure about record specific attachments.Because u dont have Begda and endda for an attachment. Just chk on this one...

Surely YOu can attach any file (pdf / txt ) to any infotype (custom/ std)
