Characteristic Value Updation using Upload program RCCTBI01

We are using Std. LSMW RCCTBI01 for creating characteristics.

If there is a characteristic 'COLOUR' with values RED,BLUE,BLACK,GREEN

During display Read/Converted Data all relevant data is updated.But during Batch Input characteristic is created with only first & last characteristic values i.e RED & GREEN.

There was a Bug in the Program for which SAP note has been applied.

I am stuck with the same issue for the report RCCTBI01.

Please let me know which Note you have applied. It would be of great help.

I tried searching notes, but couldnt find one for the problem.

why dont u use recording of cl24n which will assign characteristics to material with values also.I think u r from sisl, me too

Dear Amit,

If u see the Program name mentioned,it is of creating characteristics not of assigning material to characteristics,which altogether different from my query.

Iam trying to create characteristics using upload and the mentioned error is coming while uploading the characteristics values like for characteristics'colour' there can be various values like 'RED',BLUE',BLACK' ..... .

if u want to upload multiple values, try giving semicolon between values in the excel file and then upload. I think ur problem might be solved
