A Cutover plan is a list of tasks that need to be performed in order for a project to go live.

This is used in implementations and upgrades.

Normall kind of things are apply transports. Update authorizations. Perform Data Migration.

Re set GL information

Make the system set to Productive.

hai,

Cut over plan means, fixation of date to upload the existing data into SAP. For example client wants to update all the transaction balance as on 31.10.2007. But they will update oct transactions in the month of nov 01st to 15th.

So client will give all opening balance as on 15th but effect from 31.10.2007. So they need to update 15days transaction in SAP(i.e 01.11.2007 onwards) simultaneously they want to complete 15 days transaction in their existing system also.
