Help, proportion factor on flexible planning does not work

Former Member

Hi pp gurus:

I created a flexible planning (Consistent planning), I set planning hierrchy as below:

sales Org. :1000

|

distibution Channel:40

|

plant: 6000

/ / \ \

M1(10%) M2(20%) M3(30%) M4(40%)

all aggr.fact. were 1

then I created a plan accrding to this planning hierarchy via MC93, e.g. I inputed 1000 at 1000 40 6000, then I disaggregate the plan to material level, what the result is not

M1: 100, M2:200, M3:300, M4:400

but

M1: 250, M2:250, M3:250, M4:250

it seems the proportion factor did not work, any guy can tell me the reason, how to fix it?

Thank you in advanced

John

Hi Vicky Khabrani

Thank you for your reply

The planning hierarchy is below:

sales Org. :1000 (100%)

|

distibution Channel:40 (100%)

|

plant: 6000 (100%)

/ / \ \

M1(10%) M2(20%) M3(30%) M4(40%)

all aggr.fact. were 1

Now , the key figure-Production can be divided according to setted proportion, but the key figure-Sales did not, it still was divided equally, I did not know is it right? is SAP standard logic?

Thank you advanced

Hi Zhong

Since u r dealing with consistent planning; which method did u use to calculate proportional factors? Was it MC8U or MC9B?

If MC9B & assuming u have following hierarchy i.e. X as Sales Organisation (60%); XX as Distribution channel (80%) & XXX (25%) as material i.e. proportional factors will be calculated based on following formula

X (S.O) / XX (D.C) / XXX (Material) = 0.6 * 0.8 * 0.25 = 12%

Please check with your settings and compare with this and revert
