sap basis Transports problem

Hello All,

This is sates I had a problem and I want to share or take the suggestions from you.

1) I installed ecc6.0 in once server

2) And I installed 4.7ee in another server

3) Then I made ECC6.0 as a domain controller and I included 4.7EE in to domain controller ECC6.0

4) Now I can do Role transports by using request number. From one client to other client.

5) But come's to ABAP programs....I am able to transport request number but not able to see ABAP code.

6) Any one can help me out in solving this issue.....

Hi,

i hope that it will be obtain in two possible ways one is you select migration on installation and another one is some problems in your system.and also one more you can check RFC destinetion in your system.

Hi Sateesh,

its possible but after doing system copy as hetrogeneous system copy from 4.7 to ec6 after doing this you do anything...

Hi sateesh

Basically you are trying to move ABAP programs from different versions of software , from one system to other. It is completely normal that you can´t . Usually this is called a migration, and requires a whole project of migration. What you are doing right now will create severe damage to your system.
