Hi,
I'm a java professional & want to learn SAP. Can any one tell me where I can get a good start ??? Please send me the links for SAP tutorials for beginners.
Thanks in advance,
Shobitha.
hi Shobitha,
I presume that you have good exposure to java concepts.
In Netweaver there are enormous modules. The one which aptly fits for a Java resource is the Application Integration stack of Netweaver.
The modules which falls here are Webdynpros which is deployed in WAS.
The basic requisties for webdynpro are :-
1)Core Java concepts
2)MVC architecture
3)Dynamic programming approach
4)Concepts of data binding and context mapping
5)JDBC concepts(here we use JCO)
Apart from this you have scope for development in EP and KM for java professional.
You can get all related soft copies from
In the search text field jus type "webdynpro" if u want to get webdynpro details & so on.
Hope it helps.

Guru

HI Shotibha,
As you have good background with Java.
You can go for J2EE applications in SAP, ESA development in SAP or Webdynpro applications.
In all these areas, you require Java knowledge and little bit about SAP R/3.
You can get docs and help for these areas from sdn.sap.com, service.sap.com and help.sap.com
I suggest that first choose your interest area and then start finding documents on it. It will give better result.

Bhavik
