Hello gurus,

I'm using the "new" reporting tool BI 7.0 to open an "existing" workbook that was created using the "old" reporting tool BW 3.5, it prompt for objects conversion, what happen if I select "yes".

Can I still open and modify the workbook with the "old" reporting tool BW 3.5?

Or do I have to modify the workbook using the "new" reporting tool BI 7.0?

Also, what happen to the converted objects?

Hi,

Once you Open 3.5 reports and Web templates, in Bi 7.0 you can no longer edit the same in Bw 3.5...

So never open it in newer version and never select YES, if you still want to edit it in older versions....

Or just start editing those in newer version....
