Wrong default language in applications

Former Member

Hello,

in our application, we have as wording files (.wdview.xlf) the default (filled with english) and english and german. On our productive system, we now have the effect, that if you use it with another language (we tried a french client with french as browser language), the application language is german. Is there any setting in the web as, that effects the language?

(In our testing environment it works fine.

Regards Horst Timcke

Hello Maksim,

we checked the different 'steps'. So where can we set the Language preference of the JVM?

It seems there to be different to our testing environment.

Regards Horst.

Hello Horst,

run ..\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\j2ee\configtool\configtool.bat

For "cluster data" -> "instance..." -> "server..." open "General" tab.

and add entry

-Duser.language=en

See for more information about config tool
