Which JDBC driver to use with MS Access?

I have checked out http://developers.sun.com/product/jdbc/drivers and found more than 20 drivers supporting querying an MS Access DB.

Can anyone recommend any one in particular?

Hi Henning,

If you are not intending to use the JDBC-ODBC bridge connectivity provided by SUN (part of JDK - sun.jdbc.odbc Java package), and you need to focus on the commercial 'pure JDBC' drivers, then you might want to do your selection based on:

- The driver 'Type' and its compatibility with your server deployment platform

- The driver JDBC API release level

- The driver purchasing cost

Again, the Sun tool) you indicated will provide you with a initial vendor list you can drill down further.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Joseph

Is there an answer to my question there? I know about the WIKI and have found the link to Sun's driverpage there, but I haven't found more about connecting to MS Access in the WIKI. If there is, please guide me.
