my requirement is to attach all employee related documents like photo,cv, offer letters, markscards.etc to HR master in HR(for particular employee). I heard this is possible through Archivelink.Can anybody expalin me how can i do that. I want to know which are the configurations required and how can i attach documents to hr master and retrieve those documents.plz explain me in detail. Can I do this using DMS?

Hi Sham,
from my point of view the easiest way would be to use the GOS (Generic Object Services) button which is displayed in the upper left corner of DMS transactions CV02N and CV03N. Here you will find the 'Attachment list'. By using the entry 'Create --> Attachment' you can simply add an original (photo, CV,...) to a specific document info record.
For general personal data I would kindly recommend you to use the transaction PA30. Here you should be able to handle all employee related issues and documents.
