Dear all
we already have a portal repository in a folder n subfolders structure .now i want to classify all the existing documents based on certain categories so that it helps me in obtaining a better search.
so whenever an admin uploads a new document he/she should be provided with the options based on which we are categorising our documents.
the categories should be displayed and the sub -catogories should fall in the dropdown.
so should we design the document load sceen ,else how to customize the existing scren adding these categories and subcategories .
how far will custom properties help in this regard
can anyone give a detailed solution to obtain the above requirement

u can use the Classification and Taxonomy feature of the TREX to your advantage.
You let the admin upload the documents in a repository. create an index for this repository.
