Hi Guys,
I want to check if there is a possiblity to get a <u><b>DISPLAY</b> access</u> to <i>Visual Administrator</i> where I can view logs and settings, instead of bothering XI Admin guys.
This would be a great help to me and to all new comers who want to explore visual admin.
Regards
Sujan
Here's a good blog from Michal.

Hi Michal and SKM,
Thanks for the quick responses.. Two things
1) http://server:50000/nwa comes up, <b><i>but i am not able to login into the application</i></b>. it just shows the same screen after i press the logon button. I am on SP 13 and I have administrator rights?? Anyways thanks for introducing me to the tool
2) If I have to see the settings and parameter values in XI. I need to have access to Visual Admin, but I have a restriction that i will not be given Change Access. Any ideas how i can launch visual admin with <u><b>Display Access</b></u>
Hi Sujan,
Try read the "Monitoring Setup Guide for SAP NetWeaver 04 SP Stack <b>12</b>"
(http://service.sap.com/nw04operation (Cross NW))
There is the Setup described for the NWA...
But in short:
To 1) There are some special (java) roles your user must have to operate or use the NWA.
To 2) As the roles exist in a readonly version and a update version, i think the solution is to use the readonly roles to get "display access" and then you can forget about VA and only use NWA.....
Hope this helps..
regards
Rolf
