hi,

idx2 is necessary in xi, it is required to load the metadata, other wise XI doesnot understand what is coming in!!

it is something like loading your XSD before receiving the xml file with data.

hi somu,

i will give u a example

Suppose there is structure like this

Name

Age

Address

and you need to send this to some receiving system. We have to make sure that the receiver system will accept that data in Name, Age and Address order only, other wise how does the receiving system knows what to receive.

One more simplest example is you book!

if you open a book the initial pages is contents with page number... it gives you an idea what is there inside... content page is meta data for the actual contents of the book.
