Error while sending mail fromportal.

Hi,

I'am trying to Install and Configure Mail System in my portal.I had created a system and i had configured it.Whwn am trying to send Email from Collobaration launch pad link am getting this error

"<b>The e-mail server could not be reached when the system was trying to send the message</b>"

please help me in this issue.

Hi,

Check if the SMTP server configured r not.. if not refer this document
