I am new to ESS/MSS . I have difficulty in understanding the way ESS/MSS
webdynpro applications interacts with SAP .
I worked in webdynpro for quite some time . I know the way we interact with SAP is through BAPIs, we call
BAPI from webdynpro by passing the required values to the model nodes and the BAPI will return the results which will
used by the webdynpro.I know in the BAPI they will do some validations and update or return values form the SAP tables.
But in ESS/MSS i am not getting all the new terms like Conversion classes , Infotypes , Subtyes , UI Structures and How are these
related to the webdynpro applications . I have read some where that if we want to add a new field to the UI we need to do
modifications in these items and that gets reflected in the webdynpro application .
can some one explain me how are these related to webdynpro and what exactly happens when we call a BAPI in the ESS/MSS application.
