Top N Rank BEx Query Issue

Hi All,

We have Top N ranking queries, and queries are ranked based on restricted key figures by setting an option Display values as "Rank Numbers". When we excute the query designer the ranks are repititive i.e. we can see more than 1 rank for different value. For Ex:

Plant Amount rank

ABC 110.34 1

CDE 109.84 1

EFG 110.00 1

GHI 100 2

IJK 99.58 2

KLM 99.85 2

and soon.

Key figure Amount is formula with two decimal places and rank is restricted key figure, if I convert rank to formula also same issue. Would any one faced this issue if yes, please help me out in resoving this issue. I apprecaite by assigning points.

Hi Vishesh ,

I did defined the key figure on which we are suppose to rank as 0.00 and that is calculated key figure. What you said is correct its rounding off the value, would you have any other thoughts.

Eric,

It seems that the values which are converted into rank are equal or they are rounded off to the same amount to show a common rank. Try to define the 'No of Decimal Places' as '0.00' in the properties of the Rank keyfigure and check if it helps.
