Live Cache Installation Error

Hi,

While trying to install Livecache, i am getting the error as bleow.

Hello Sandeep,

-> You got error:

"CJS-00030 Assertion failed: SdbSoftware.getExistingDbmcli(): IndepProgPath /sapdb/programs exists, but /sapdb/programs/bin/dbmcli is missing."

It's looking that the database software was installed on the server, but it was uninstalled incorrectly.

• Did you delete the database software manually?

• Do you have the database software in /sapdb on the server?

Was it installed before?

Please review the SAP note < !! > ::

599129 Uninstalling MaxDB/SAP DB software using SDBUNINST

• Please update the thread with output of the following commands::

ls -l /usr/spool/sql/ini

ls -l /sapdb/programs/bin

uname -a

ls -l /etc/opt/sdb

• If you have already removed database software manually & the /sapdb directory is empty,

you can not use the note 599129 any more.

Please check the existence of the file /etc/opt/sdb & subdirectories of the directory /usr/spool/sql/ini

where you still have the register information of the database installation.

If you have already removed database software manually & the /sapdb directory is empty,

please rename the file /etc/opt/sdb to /etc/opt/sdb.old < if you have > &&

subdirectories in /usr/spool/sql/* to /usr/spool/sql/* .old and rerun the installation again.
