Hi Guru's,

this is regarding ...

checking the data...

I have retrieved the data from planning area in to a back up cube by creating a process chain.

In cube i retrieved the data based on sales company like (5000, 5001, 5002,and 5004) in the data selections as the constrain in four InfoPackage and then in to cube.

Now I tired to check the data in planning area after running the process chain and cube , now I'm unable to match the Planning book data with the cube data.... what would be the reason.

1) I checked in extract checker by giving the data source.

2) By creating query to the cube.

3)and manually checked the data in the cube.

...

what would be the next method to check ..

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Hi,

your query must be defined like the planning object structure. This means that the query must contain all characteristics (within a row) that are used in the planning object structure. You can check it in transaction /SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN.

Another option is to create an remote infocube linking to the planning area. Then you could use the same query structure to be sure to compare the data the right way.

Hope this helps...

Regards,

Niko
