SAP Internet Graphics Server (IGS)

Hi all,

I'd like to know whether SAP IGS is installed in my machine or not?

If its not installed.could anyone please send me the path to download IGS?

I am using the latest version of WAS.

So everyone here is telling that IGS will be coming with that defaultly.

But If I check SAP MMC -->In the process list,Its not showing the IGS server.

So I think its not installed.

So I got one link to download IGS but in that link I could not find out the downloadable file.Here see the link..

Hi kartik,

did u check in visual adminstrator under services.it will list the available services in your was server.

I checked in Visulal Administrator -> Server -> Services .

There is no IGS Server running.

If I try to give default igs url thro visual admin -server - services - Configuration adapter - Right side tree -- configuration ---webdynpro - sap.com - tc_wddispwda -- property sheet default --double click --There if I try to enter IGS Url ,but its not enabled.how to enable that ,after enabling I ahve to give IGS server path.

Hi,

You have to click the view/edit button to make changes in th evisual admin.

Hope you are doing that.

Follow the steps as given in the following document.

FYI, the default port for the IGS is 40080.

hi

check out this file for the port number of igs.

\usr\sap\NTH (or usually \J2E)\JC00\igs\conf\igs.xml

and click on the edit button in the visual admin to edit the property default sheet, and fill in the url using the port number from the aforementioned.(http://server:igsportnumber)

make sure while you test your application you give the same url in the business graphics ui element property "igsurl" that you would use.
