As I am new to SAP HR needs your valuable suggestions.
Regards
Sam
Hi Sam,
Sandbox is what the name suggests. In SAP R/3 you have the development (Configuration client), Quality client and the Production Client. In the configuration client, which is also called the Golden client you do all your configuration stuff, in the quality client you do all your testing (usually done by the Client or the Business Users).
At times the client can have a test client for the configurators(i.e. in development we can have a test client too)
in sandbox you have all the authorizations, to configure, to hire an emp, to run payroll. the most imp thing for sandbox is that transports are not created.
hope this helps-

Hi Samuel,
According to R/3 there are Sand box client, Devlopment client,Quality & Testing client,Production.
Sand Box contains the SAP original software which is changed or any configuration is done in it, this is original software is copied to development client with a naming convention just like ur copying of the SAP standatd model wage types into customer specific name.
I think it will give a idea
