MB5B & MB5L.

Hi,

When i am trying to execute the reports MB5L and MB5B, there shows a discrepency in the valuation value. Please suggest what could be reasons for this error.

Valuable inputs will be highly appreciated and rewarded.

Hi when u do the MB5L you have to select the period and scope of list appropriately. Otherwise it will show the discrepancy in valuation value.

Hi,

MBLB is a report which shows Valuation according to the periods

whereas MB5B shows according to posting date

There may be discrepancy in both becuase MB5B takes the valuation on the start

date and then adds receipts and then closing

whereas MBLB shows you the valuation according do the Period it may be current

period or previous period ( See the radio buttons on selection screen)

Looking at this there may always variation in both the reports

Is it worth and correct methof to compare MB5B and MB5L report or it should not.
