I have a question about the SAP Netweaver Portal. We have configured for our customer TREX and crawling for a web repository using the SAP Netweaver Portal and TREX 7.0. The SAP Webdispatcher server is rerouting the URL like http://sapwebdispatcherserver/index.html to the existing SAP Netweaver portal on the http://netweaverportalserver:51200/index.html.
The problem is that when we are using a link to crawl in the index.html file like for example: http://sapwebdispatcherserver/index.html link, the page cannot be crawled and indexed therefore not searchable using the search option in Knowledge Management. When we crawl an index.html file using the http://netweaverportalserver:51200/index.html link the crawling and indexing is done excellent without any problem.
The following has already been done and configured:
Creating HTTP System
Creating a website
Creating a cache for repository manager
Creating a repository manager
Creating a crawler
Creating an index
Adding a web repository to an index
Configure the IndexServiceTaskQueueReader for two server id’s
Configure the indexing for the SAP Webdispatcher (loadbalancer)
Configure Alternative Host for the SAP Webdispatcher.
The only configuration I could figure out is that the full qualified host name could be an issue with the following:
HTTP System
-> System Administration - System Configuration - KM - CM - Global Services - SLD - Systems - HTTP Systems
or
TREX Name Server
-> System Administration - System Configuration - Index Administration - TREX monitor - Name Server
or
Alternative host
-> System Administration - System Configuration - KM - CM - Global Services - URL Generator Service
Anyone has any experience or information for configuration for TREX with SAPWebdispatcher and full qualified hostname crawling?
