Hi experts,

my client has uploaded the initial stocks to the depot which has no excise reference after golive again they have done sto to the depot with excise invoice but now my RG23D register is not getting updated for the stocks which was uploaded without reference. please guide me how to regularise.

Hi,

You can do 562 movmt type in MB1C to reduce the stock again if it has happened in this month only. If it has happened in last month do the posting in the last month only.

After doing that you can create individual POs for the quantity and then do a GRN at depot with excise reference.

Follow the instructions given by SAP to upload initial data.

Hi Vinayak,

Regarding RG23D, we are not supposed to use 561 to do the initial stock keeping in case of a depot. You have to pass the counter entry of reducing the stocks and then creating a PO for the stock. Then taking a GRN wrt this PO and also give the excise reference.
