Problem with SDM: Cannot log in. There are already active sessions...

I started the SDM to deploy EAR. Since it's quite slow, I brock it down by Ctrl + C. Then I restarted the j2EE Engine and started the SDM again. But as I want to login, I got erro rmessage:

Cannot log in. There are already active sessions: Session id 9/An administrator logged in via GUI/

Where and how can I stop this session so I can log inagain?

Hi Thomas

1. If it is Windows box, check for any such process in Task manager, and end its process.

2. or Restart only SDM process using JCMON.

Let me know, if problem persists.

Check the SDM log if problem persists.

Hi,

I've solved the problem by stopping the java.exe prozess in task manager.

I can't still see the point icons.

But I can see the point icons by forum "NetWeaver AS, General".

Hi,

I had this issue today of not able to login due to already active session. However based on the forum advise I restarted SDM, this however helped me log back in to SDM. But when I tried to deploy something it was erroring out. I restarted SAP, this helped solve the problem.

However I have not tried the option of disable and enable SDM in JCMON. Not sure if that works.

Please reward points if this has been helpful!
