Problem with Alert Text

Hi Experts,

Container variable : <b>SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRTXT</b>

Error text is not displayed completely in the E-mail, as you can see above.

because ABAP Dictionary Data Type: <b>CHAR70.</b>

is there any way to display complete Error text.

Hi,

The full error text from adapter engine will not be displayed.

There is a limitation and is discussed in the following SAP Note 724755.

Unfortunately it is not possible to replace a text which is longer than 80 bytes.

Use t-code to see the full alert text alrtdisp. Enter Alert Id or other relevant details to filter the alerts.

In the following screen select the alert and press <Ctrl+F5>,

Next click on Expression SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRTXT. You will get to see the full error text.

DOnt know but just try to use some other ABAP Dictionary data type to get the full Text..like CHAR114
