Deployment Error

Hi,

I'm getting the following error when I try to deploy my WD application.

" Exception is: com.sap.engine.services.jndi.persistent.exceptions.NamingException: Exception during getInitialContext operation. No server is running. [Root exception is com.sap.engine.services.security.exceptions.BaseLoginException: Exception in creating new RemoteLoginContext instance. "

My NWDS is configured correctly for accessing the J2EE engine and also the SDM is currently working fine... I tried deploying other WD applications but I'm getting the same error.

Please help.

Sorry for the delayed allocation of points... The issue has been resolved as it was a hardware issue on my end which resulted in the network connectivity getting dropped..

Hi Pinac,

1. Go to Visual Admin --> Security Provider --> service.naming.

2. Select NO for the authentication template.

3. Remove the CreateTicketLoginModule. (This login module can be used only by Web applications.)

Is your Server running?

Check the status of your J2EE Engine

1) In your NWDS

2) Goto Window -> Show View -> J2EE Engine

3) You can see whether the server is running or not
