Transformations

Hi experts

i have a doubt on transformations

i am new ti BI7

can any body tell me after migration 3.x data source when we are creating transformations mapping will automatically forms are we shoul do that mapping explicitly.

i am not getting automatically here

System would hardly propose any mappings.

Before migrating datasource migrate TR/UR.

You may refer to Transfer Rules if avail in Sandbox for the same source -> target.

If its Buss Content make sure you will have all your routines in the Transformations as in TR/UR.

here we r using business content

when u try create tranformations some routine syntax error is coming

is this b'coz the code is in 3.x and we have to do manually changes

and sap is working on this to conver these routines automatically .

other wise we have to load the data using 3.x

my aurgument is correct r not pls tell me

You can correct the code yourselves - just have to do small modifications accordingly to OOABAP.

Like replace COMM_STRUCTURE with SOURCE_FIELDS.

I donot know when SAP will deliver all these...

You have to else Syntax errors will not let you activate update rules.

Yes you can still use 3.X flow with TR/UR....

If you have already migrated the datasource - Recover it in RSDS Tcode.

Install TR, UR....and follow 3.X flow.
