CTM Technical Requirements

Hi all -

We currently use SNP Heuristics/Deployment and TLB and are looking towards using CTM for constrained planning in the next 6-8 months. Can somebody help me with the technical requirements before trying to set up some test config?

CTM technically requires a seperate optimization server. Connections would need to be made from this optimization server to the Live Cache server. You may need to check the SAP site for exact details on installation. There is no further hardware requirement as such compared with plain vanilla APO setup.

1) Do I have to use SAP quicksizer to determine the DB and Hardware requirements for the optimization server?

2) Does the Optimization Server require a seperate physical server?

Can somebody help me with some high level steps?
