Layout barcode printing

Hello.

During an update to an existing project, that uses layouts for printing

(se71), I tried to add a barcode to a layout. In the the print preview,

any barcode I try to print displays as large black rectangles havig

same size. When trying to print, I get the original text printed, not

the barcode.

How can this be solved?

Hi Gershon,

To print a barcode in scripts, we need some special setup in the printer side to print it. However this can be printed using a smartform, if you create a barcode using NEW BARCODE TECHNOLOGY and use that barcode for printing.
