How do you change message type linked to partner in WE20?

Former Member

Good Morning,

May please have a piece of info about this subject:

In we20 (partner Profiles) i can see that a partner of type LS (Logical System)

has, as Outbound parameters, the CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE Message type.

I want to change that to CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M Message type and also add another Message type, that is to say CRMXIF_PARTNER_REL_SAVE_M.

Notwithstanding, I am not able to edit the grid.

Am I lacking any of the authorizations? Or is it the wrong place to do that?

Thank you very much

Riccardo

Hi Riccardo,

If your editing the idoc which is being already there in SAP. I dont think you can do that cos we cant change the idoc which is already there.

But we can copy this Idoc frm the Golden Client (000) and paste it in any other client and then we can modify it ......So we are not suppose to touch the Standard SAP objects with proper authorisations....but still if u want to do that i think you have to provide the Acess code.

When dont have the authorisatio you cant get edit that Idoc...........

Reward with points if helpful

Hi Sai,

the idoc i want to attribute is already present.

I just have to attribute it to the partner.

Yet, i cannot see the proper way to do that.

1. create n new entry for CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M and CRMXIF_PARTNER_REL_SAVE_M.

2. Delete CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE

this is the way to have it done and u cannot edit or change CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M name in we20. just add new entry or delete

Hi,

You just have to add this Idoc in the partner profile(we20),

go to we 20 in edit mode and then under Outbound Processing there is add button, click on that a new screen will open, now you can add the required message here.

Thanks

this is not related to any authorization issues. u may run the transction su53 to display the logs related to authrozatiuon

yeah, su53 tells me I do not have

S_IDOCPART: WFEDI: S_IDOCPART - Access to partner profile (IDoc)

I think it all comes down to that...

thank you very much!

Not a problem.

I have the SAP_BC_MID_ALE_IDOC_DEVEL

role...

do you have to have a different role to add the profile / message associations?

I think there must be an ADMIN role maybe...

not sure abt the which object to use for authorization .... but if u can post the log in su53 to ur basis team they can provide u the required authorization

Yeah!!! You need an IDOC Admin, not IDOC Developer role to be able to link messages to partners!!! Thanks everybody.

Hai,

you can open tcode we20 and make it in edit mode or other wise you can add a outbound parameter using the add button shown bellow the outbound parameter grid.

Gopinathan.

Hello,

this seems the right direction.

Yet, in my right - click menu, I have these choices:

- Help

- Choose

- Back

- Display

- Cancel

- Exit

- Check

- IDoc Output

- Tree output

- Position

- Expand subtree

- Collapse subtree

In the "Edit" menu I have

- Position

- Expand subtree

- Collapse subtree

If I click on "position", I just have a "choose partner" window, but then I do not have the "choose message type" or anything that helps me choose the messages...

Does this mean I am lacking any authorizations?

thanks a lot, Riccardo

u have the option of adding a new one and u cannot edit the name. So make a new entry and then delte the one that is not required,
