Transaction code "WE19" is used to trigger IDOC manually or

And also you can configure the profile of the partnert in t c "WE20" for which Idoc will b gerenerated automatically.

The below link can be helpful in underastanding more about Idoc.

And to moniter the status of Idoc the we can go to T .C " WE05"

Hi Vishnu

Follow these steps you can do it very easyly..

First - Maintain the Sender R/3 System:

SM59 : Create a RFC destination to XI

WE21 : Create a TRFC Port ->Specify the RFC Destination Created

BD54 : Create a Logical System for the Idoc Receiver

WE20 : Create Partner Profile ->Maintain Outbound and the Inbound Parameters

Second - Log on to XI System:

SM59 : RFC Destination for Sender System

IDX1 : Create the port to get Idoc Metadata from Sender System ( The Port Name must match the port name in the idoc header - Usually in format SAP<System ID>. eg. SAPID1 [Optional Step. Not mandatory]

IDX2 : Maintain the Idoc Metadata. This is needed only by XI, and not by other SAP systems. IDX2 is needed because XI needs to construct IDoc-XML from the IDoc. No other SAP system needs to do that.

Thanks and Regards,

Santosh

Hi

Just for testing purpose..you can use WE19..

First goto transaction WE02 and put Basic type : eg MATMAS03 as filter criteria, change your creation date to select little old idocs and run...on next screen your will see number of idocs "MATMAS03" with green status(if there is any in that period..otheriwse change period again).

Then goto WE19 and put existing idoc number in the field existing idoc and and presss F8...On next screen press "Standard outbound processing".

Can also use we19 and change control record ( Double click in EDIDC segment) to your sender / recever partner profile.. and run

Thanks

hi vishnu,

1) for testing u can use transaction we19

2) use transaction sm58 to see if there are any errors for the idoc sent. if it contains any entries then there are errors and u can see them there. if no entries then no errors on r/3 side for the idoc sent.

use we05 and we02 to see the idocs posted into ur r/3

3) use sxmb_moni for moitoring messages. use idx5 to see the idoc xml.

[reward if helpful]

it depends where you send the IDoc.

if you send the IDoc to a client of the xi that isn't the integration server you will

see the IDoc in idx5.

if you send the IDoc to the client that has the role integration server (you can check this in the SDL) then you can't see the IDoc in idx5 (on the xi).

In this case you can see the IDoc in the message monitor (transaction sxmb_moni).
