Urgent: Posting - Possible?

Hi Experts,

We are gone live on SAP4.7 Indian payroll in the month of october.

We didnt post the payroll results for the month of october as it is done manually(outside SAP). This month(November), we had run payroll and found to be error-free. Even we had run the posting run in simulation mode. Now we wanted to post the results of November.

Can we post the results of November with out posting the October results?

Set payroll control record not to allow any retro-back prior to Nov pay period (i.e. only if payroll is retro-back to this period would it know the period hasn't been posted yet).

Current period as November

Retro period as October

Please advise accordingly

Hi Siddarth,

If you go for mid year Go-Live and you want to posting from Nov onward then it is possible. Set Payroll control record - Current Period Nov and Retro. Period also Nov.

Are you going to upload the previous records of the leagcy system in to SAP. Did you GOLIVE? To get the full benifits of SAP, you need to upload previous results in to SAP as part of MID year GOLIVE through INLK schema
