How to set a wastage % , while creating a BOM.

Hi,

Wastage, you can consider as a scrap.

In CS02 basic data tab page, you can give input for operation scrap or component scrap.

Operation scrap means wherever use this bom, it will consider scrap % .

Component scrap means for this particular bom only, it will consider scrap%.

Hi Avi,

About scrap please check this:

(In CS02 you can choose: Goto > Item and on 'Basic data' tab you can set the scrap rate)

Hi All,

BOM is Created for know the component used in making the particular product.

Eg: PEN is the product

Component for that is

1.Refil 1 pc

2.Body - 2 pcs

3.Cap - 1 pc

This is what you will be giving it in BOM. Wastage % will not be given in BOM.

Wastage % will be given in MRP.
