Hi,
Profit center derivation can be carried out using the transaction code 3KEH. Profit center derivation means automatic assignment of Profit center for GL accounts when transactions are posted. It is similar to OKB9 where cost centers is derived for GL accounts.
There can be further some strategies for profit center derivation like defining profit center for GL account - Business area combination and GL account - Plant combination.
