Authenication Based On Passing Username and Trusted Source

Hi,

We have an Epicentric brand portal and so far the traditional SAP Single Sign On approaches do not work for us to achieve integration.

Does anyone know of a way to trust a server as a source from which users will navigate from and to have SAP BW receive a passed username?

So users will be authenticated in SAP by being given the username and being sent from a trusted source? We do not want to pass passwords.

Hi Audrey,

inürinciple it works via your central authentication system, whatever that is (SAP-System, LDAP, or DB). Once you are authenticated from that all other systems check the ticket you carry against that system.
