Hi Kris

I haven't restarted the MDS service.

But now, the service seems to be running fine.

Is it something like the service keep monitoring the socket and start working once the socket is available ?

Please let us know the root cause on why the sockets were busy and unavailbale.

Thanks

Prakash

hi Prakash,

There is a small software that lets you know about all the MDM error codes.

I think this can be downloaded from SMP or maybe from SDN, I am not sure.

RCCodesInstall_Ver5[1].5.42.73

Thanks,

Prakash,

What version of the software are you using? It sounds like there's a collision in the socket numbers that the software uses (some other software using the same socket). If I know what version of the software you're using, I can find out which socket we're trying to use; you can run netstat -a to see what sockets are currently in use on the server that is supposed to run MDS.

I take it MDS has never run on this server before? Or was some new software installed since running MDS?
