How to post three different quality of a material?

Daer All,

How to post three different quality of a material in to the unrestricted stock with out batch management?

It means a product is classified in to three grades but all are usable at different valuation for example Product 'aaaa' is calssified as fresh,seconds,thirds with fresh as 100 rupees seconds as 80 rupees and thirds as 60 rupees.

From usage decision how will u post these three qualities in a single go bcoz when u want to post to different storage location second time no stock will b there as in the first click of the save button in UD screen the material left over will automatically b posted to unrestricted...

Hi

If you are maintaining Moving Average Price for that Particular material in Material master...then you can activate Split valuation for that particular material as choosing Quality as Valuation category and you can post it into three different quality of a material in to the unrestricted stock with out batch management by specifying Valuation Type as Qlty.1,Qlty.2 andQlty.3...

If you maintaining Moving Average Price for the material in material master....then it is not possible...

Guys,

I want actually the approach to postage of the seggregated goods during any inspection event (Rejections) from the UD screen. If u watch the UD screen u can see that it is possible to post only either to unrestricted or to blocked but no provision to post three or 4 grades of material to unrestricted stock. suppose if u try to post it by opening the UD screen again then u can see the rest of the stock that was left behind had already got posted to unresrticted with the sam valuation.

GR from production order or purchase order has to be made based on split valuation, and the QM setting should be such that Inspection lot needs to be created for every material document item.(This needs to be done in the Inpspection setup for Inspection type 01 or 04 under Control Inspection lot section).

You need to activate split valuation(w.r.t. source) @ production GR, then you can do this classification w.o batch management.
